Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope you had a marvelous Monday. I've spent some time thinking about specific details about the main character. According to Wiki, in order to successfully develop a character, you must: give your character a name, age, physical appearance, and more. There is lots of specific planning that goes into creating a character. Lots of details and development are needed in order to have a strong character on-screen.
I am naming the main character Maddie Holburn. After lots of begging, my friend Haley finally agreed to play Maddie in the film intro. At first, it was an issue because she had said she did not want to do it. I had to figure out other ways to create the intro, and debate who else could play a good Maddie Holburn. However, after promising to tutor her, Haley finally agreed to help. She also said that she had other friends from her drama club that would be interested in helping play other roles as well. She has light brown curly hair, and blue eyes. She is not very tall, she is probably around 5'2. Haley has similar features to the girl that is pictured above.
Haley is a freshman, so Maddie Holburn will most likely be a freshman. Being a freshman in highschool is a time of vulnerability and being a novice at everything you do. This works perfectly, due to the fact that Maddie, the main character in the film, is mostly confused and lost in life, until she receives the newspaper. She uses the newspaper to her advantage and grows more popular in town, and becomes more confident with herself. As she grows out of her shell, we learn more about her. She gains confidence and things are great. I will continue to develop Maddie and get back to you guys. Thanks for reading, have a nice night!
